CaraMarie Christy

 CaraMarie’s love of books started at a young age. When she was five, her mother read her the first Harry Potter book. At age six, CaraMarie read to her mother the next book in the Potter series. When she was seven, CaraMarie declared she was going to be a writer.
Growing up in a small town in upstate New York, CaraMarie didn’t have a lot of access to books she enjoyed, but upon moving to Virginia, she continually found her way into bookstores and libraries. Little pieces of her world, and everyone in her world, inspire her  characters. “I wrote Fairies Fly because I’ve always felt, at heart, that fairies are real. We just don’t realize they exist,” says CaraMarie.
